Michelle Mejia is the Creative Director for Axiom Retail Advisors, Inc., and works out of our Orange County office. Michelle joined Axiom, alongside the founding partners, after making her own mark in the shopping center industry as a well-respected and admired creative marketing executive.

Prior to joining Axiom, Michelle had her own company, BriVal Inc, which consulted for many well-respected Commercial Real Estate firms in marketing, branding, and technological trends aimed toward brand building and market awareness.

Prior to Brival, Michelle was the Director of Marketing and Operations for a premier boutique brokerage company from 2016 to 2020. Michelle wore many hats, including managing the overall Marketing Department, including Graphic Design, Marketing Communications, Messaging, Branding, Social Media and managing Corporate Events such as all ICSC conferences.. Additionally, her skill set includes a diverse background in Vendor Management, Client Management, Data Base Management and Information Technology, all of which were pivotal in supporting the team.

Prior to this, Michelle was with Main + Main, a highly regarded California retail brokerage firm, from 2008 to 2016. She oversaw the Marketing department and she was a vital part of a team that rolled out many new and exciting retail and restaurant chains. Michelle developed and implemented marketing campaigns to improve sales efforts in expanding markets of clients. She coordinated and managed market research and competitive analysis, to prepare reports as needed; using Market Optimization, Long Range Planning, and Projection Tracking for new restaurant and retail concepts, entering new markets. Using extensive research, Michelle put together strategic site selection packages for client tours and site approval packages, including the creation of demographic reports and competitor maps. Also Michelle oversaw IT and event planning functions, including Main + Main’s legendary cocktail parties at San Diego ICSC.

Michelle graduated from Cal State Fullerton with a Bachelor’s in International Marketing and French and is fluent in four languages. In her spare time, she is a foodie, loves to travel and geek-out on new technology.
